We have longstanding services to the community, such as our weekly story time for kids featuring George Brown. Jan, our co-owner, is actively involved in local schools, and we both provide financial and other support for the education of our children.

We also provide everything the chains do: free wireless internet access, daily delivery of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal as well as all of the local newspapers

Our walls have provided space for local artists. We wish to continue and expand the space for local art to exhibit and grow. Betty is a dedicated artist with major art contacts in China.

We are a convenient starting place for those interested in walking, biking, walking your dogs (we have cookies for them) or whatever into Chabot Regional Park. Moreover, we can provide information on all of the Regional parks
